Broadstone, Dublin: The Masterplan for 30 acres was prepared by O’Mahony Pike Architects + Urban Designers to out-line the various options that may be open to CIE should they wish to develop their lands at Broadstone Station. It explored the scale and massing of the various proposals and the resultant traffic and pedestrian links of this Mixed Use Development Draft submitted November 2005
DoEHLG Design Guidance Document.
Orlaith was the Director in charge of the preparation of the “Sustainable residential design - A best practice guide” to accompany the review of the DEHLG Residential Density guidelines. It is the criteria based design guide for sustainable residential communities.Draft submitted December 2007
Grangegorman Masterplan: OMP lead a team of Metworks, Feilden Clegg Bradley, ARUP and others to be runners up in the Grangegorman Masterplan competition to integrate the D.I.T and H.S.E. developments and community in a new city precinct for Dublin in 2007.
Orlaith was also Project Manager of the delivery of Adamstown SDZ with SDCC, which won both the Irish
Planning Institute Town Planning Excellence Award 2005, and the European Council of Spatial Planning Urban
Design Excellence Award 2005
