Cork South Docks (with Brady Shipman Martin): The Cork South Docks Local Area Plan was prepared to realise the vision of the Cork Dock¬lands Development
Strategy prepared in 2001. The South Docks provide a unique opportunity for the development of Cork City. The area extends from Custom House Quay at the eastern end of the city centre along the Marina to Blackrock. This opportunity translated into the proposed creation of a vibrant, innovative, mixed use, sustainable, socially inclusive, urban quarter, enabling the City to compete at a national and international level. Draft submitted November 2007.
Magee Barracks: A Masterplan for a mixed-use development of decentralised offices and 1000 units in Kildare Town. The Public consultation has just been completed and this project will reinstate a new town quarter and community.
Drogheda Northern Environs Masterplan: OMP with Dermot Foley Landscape Architects prepared a Masterplan for the North Drogheda Environs in January of 2006. The brief was to develop a spatial Masterplan following the Local Area Plan adopted in 2004. The Area provides for a wide range of uses including the development of three new residential neighbour-hoods to cater for a population of 20,000 people on an area extending to 223 hectares, located approximately 2km north of Drogheda town centre. The Masterplan responded to the form of the landscape typologies and character, including The Demesne landscapes, Industrial landscapes and Hydrology. Completed
January 2006.
