Herbert Park

The project received the URBAN DESIGN AWARD from the Irish Planning Institute. The jury stated that the promenade has become “an elegant thoroughfare and vibrant meeting place - a place of real civic status!”

It includes 2 opposing curved apartment buildings placed end to end, with extensive riverside landscaping. These enclose private open space beside the River Dodder and public open space in Herbert Park.

A 4 star hotel flanks the northern side of the promenade. On the south side is a 6 storey high specification office building.
