Hanover Quay

This mixed use development in the Grand Canal Dock area includes apartments and a 600sqm creche, with retail and commercial units overlooking Hanover Quay.

A two-storey plinth to Forbes Street extends the Georgian streetscape. The continuous facades, stepped entrances and railings are utilised to enhance this sense of a reinstated street frontage.

On a grander urban scale are a series of four and five storey glass pavilions to Hanover Quay which rest on the heavy plinth. They have a more singular, object-like quality in line with the neighbouring warehouses and industrial buildings.
